COME LEARN BALLROOM DANCING
Jive! Cha Cha Cha! Quick Step! Waltz! Popular dances at any wedding or party, be it at home or around the globe, we at Connie and Danny's School of Dance teach them perfectly. So much so, our workshops and dance programs for leading IT companies (Oracle, SAP Labs, GE, Wipro and IIM Bangalore) have been great hits, not forgetting our thrilling dance sessions for the armed forces at the ASC Centre and RSI Club, Bangalore. We guarantee that on completion of the course with us, one can get confidence in dancing to any number, be it Hip Hop music, Rock n Roll or Techno for that matter, and get invited to any happening party. We believe that the dances we teach not only help the participants be part of an enjoyable experience, but also get some relaxation from the stressful life they lead.
DANCE STYLES TAUGHT
Attain a basic to an advanced level of proficiency with the following styles:

Jive
The jive is a dance style that originated in the United States from the African Americans in the early 1930s. The name of the dance comes from the name of a form of African-American vernacular slang and can be learnt in 6 lessons or more.
- Up-beat swing
- Energetic dance

Quick Step
Elegant, smooth, and glamorous, Quickstep dancers are energetic while appearing extremely light on their feet. This is learnt along with Cha-Cha-Cha and Waltz in a span of 12 lessons or more.
- Smooth dance

Cha-Cha-Cha
The name "Cha Cha Cha" is onomatopoeic, derived from the shuffling sound of the dancers' feet. The word imitates the sound of the steps and is usually danced to authentic Cuban music.
- Vibrant quick dance

Waltz
The Waltz (International Style Standard Waltz) is a ballroom dance in 3/4 time with a strong accent on the first beat and a basic pattern of step-step-close.
- International Standard Waltz

Vienese Waltz
The Viennese Waltz (180 beats per minute), so called to distinguish it from the Waltz and the French Waltz which are slower at about 90 beats per minute.
- Vienese Waltz

Slow Fox Trot
The Foxtrot is very similar to the Waltz but distinctive to the Foxtrot, dancers take long steps during the slower counts, and short steps during the faster counts.
- Branding
- Product Design

Tango
In Tango, the feet pick up and place onto the floor, rather than gliding along in constant contact with the floor. Along with the other advanced dances, it takes 12 lessons or more to learn.
- Tango
- Quick feet

Rumba
The Cuban style (International Style) Rumba is characterized by forward and backward steps. The American version (American Style) Rumba is danced in a box pattern as it's chief characteristic.
